Helping Fellow Pitt Panthers

Right now, we all need help in some way and we have ways for Pitt faculty, staff, and students to help one another in this time.

Pitt Shopping Helper

Through this program, you can provide assistance to other Pitt students, staff, and faculty, who are unable to leave their homes by delivering groceries and medical supplies. If you are curious, you can see a map of the people already signed up as Pitt Shopping Helpers.

Complete this survey to provide information about yourself. This will be followed by a brief training. Please contact Ben Rottman at with any questions.

Find a Pitt Shopping Helper: You can find someone in the Pitt community who can deliver groceries and medical supplies to your home. The goal is to connect people within neighborhoods in order to minimize movement and the spread of COVID-19. Student Relief Fund

The health and safety of our Pitt community, particularly our students, is paramount. We also recognize that every disruption to the norm comes with hardship; a disruption the size of the COVID-19 outbreak amplifies those hardships beyond measure.

Your support of the Student Emergency Assistance Fund will help our students with unexpected costs such as:

  • Housing expenses
  • Unexpected travel
  • Medical necessities
  • Food insecurity

Thank you for your willingness to help students with unanticipated and overwhelming needs related to this pandemic.
