Helping Fellow Pitt Panthers

Right now, we all need help in some way and we have ways for Pitt faculty, staff, and students to help one another in this time.

The Pitt Pantry

During the COVID -19 pandemic, the Pitt Pantry will not be accepting physical donations. Any student in need of food assistance will be provided emergency food  via meal passes  for the purchase of items at Quick Zone in Litchfield Towers, students may request up to 10 meal passes using this form.  Monetary donations are also being accepted at this time by indicating “Pitt Pantry” on the Pitt Giving webpage. Any questions can be directed to pantry@pitt.edu.

Student Relief Fund

The health and safety of our Pitt community, particularly our students, is paramount. We also recognize that every disruption to the norm comes with hardship; a disruption the size of the COVID-19 outbreak amplifies those hardships beyond measure.

Your support of the Student Emergency Assistance Fund will help our students with unexpected costs such as:

  • Housing expenses
  • Unexpected travel
  • Medical necessities
  • Food insecurity

Thank you for your willingness to help students with unanticipated and overwhelming needs related to this pandemic.

Engage Pitt Crowdfunding Platform

The EngagePitt™ Website is the University of Pittsburgh’s crowdfunding platform, where donors can make online donations to special campaigns such as those of University faculty researchers or Pitt students pursuing service projects and other experiential learning opportunities.
