Summer-Rae Haston

Summer‑Rae Haston serves as the Coordinator, Learning and Development in the Office of Engagement and Community Affairs. Summer previously served as Campus and Community Engagement Coordinator in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. A Pittsburgh native and proud Pitt alumna, Summer brings a lifelong passion for community engagement, volunteerism, and youth advocacy to her work.

Prior to her roles at Pitt, she worked as a Community‑Based Resource Coordinator with Caring Connections For YOUth, a community‑led initiative that provides access to supports and services for youth up to age 18 living in Allegheny County as a diversion from the juvenile justice system. Summer is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Lambda Lambda Zeta Chapter of Pittsburgh, where she actively participates in volunteer efforts and community service initiatives throughout the Pittsburgh region.

Summer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and her Master of Business Administration in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management from Point Park University.
