Sierra Mason

Sierra Mason joined The University of Pittsburgh in December of 2021 as the Administrative Coordinator for the Office of Engagement and Community Affairs (ECA). In this role she provided administrative and logistical support for the ECA leadership team and the office at large. Now, Sierra serves as the Project Manager for our continued work in Hazelwood.

Prior to joining ECA, Ms. Mason worked at Urban Impact Foundation on the Northside of Pittsburgh. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs in 2017 from East Tennessee State University, and her Master of International Development in 2019 from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. Passionate about individual and community development, Sierra is exploring the cross section between community development and community engagement and how these disciplines can work in tandem to help individuals and communities thrive.
