Patricia Szczepanski

Pat has worked at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute since 2005 and has seen the program grow and expand in exciting ways. As program coordinator, Pat’s duties cover a wide range of activities to keep the program going including recruiting and training instructors, organizing events, managing the program for auditing university classes, and assisting members with membership issues.

A graduate of Duquesne University, Pat came to Pitt in continuation of a long career of serving the community by working in the non-profit sector including the Pittsburgh Symphony, Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild Jazz, and Carnegie Museum of Art.

Pat studies creative writing at Pitt and enjoys reading and being outdoors, and especially reading outdoors in her car, The Grey Goose, which serves as a living room, dining room, and mobile office.
