Caitlyn Crowder

Caitlyn serves as the Assistant Director of Community Affairs and is responsible for managing and implementing University efforts and interactions across the overlapping functions of public service and volunteerism, Oakland and Upper Hill District resident engagement and mobilization, and coordinating with a network of collaborators to support off-campus responsiveness.

Caitlyn is a proud Pitt graduate completing her undergraduate studies in 2021 with a Bachelors in both Psychology and Sociology, where she developed her passion for civic engagement by participating in Pitt Signature Days of Service and connecting with on campus organizations like the Pitt Program Council and the Student Leadership Committee. An advocate for lifelong learning, Caitlyn has been a part of numerous leadership programs including the United Way’s Emerging Leaders Development Program and Pitt’s own Browne Leadership Fellows Program.
